The buttons are configurable and is a big part of how I normally heal. Lastly: I use an addon called Healium which adds in a nice hud with clickable buttons that allows you to one click heal on any party member. When the s*** hits the fan I don’t want to be screwing around trying to target my tank for heals. However this requires you to have your tank targeted, which I personally don’t like.

This set up allows you to set focus on your tank and then cast whatever spell you like.
